The Research Collection is a valuable resource for those researching family and local history.  We have an extensive compilation of County land abstracts, tombstone and bible records, census results, local newspapers and maps, various wills and deeds, personal papers, family histories, scrapbooks and other pamphlets.  Back issues of the Dorchester County Genealogical Magazine can also be found here.

Our research files and records are available in our Library at the Meredith House. These files are listed in this document in Excel format.  Click Excel and read sheet 2 and 3.
